Synopsis

A man swims in the sea as memories rise to the surface—each one tied to water. From joyful childhood moments to Olympic glory and deep trauma, his life unfolds through this final swim. The journey flows from North African pools to Mediterranean shores, camps to dreamlike beaches in Réunion.

Directors' Biography

Florence Miailhe (b. 1956) studied at the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Since her first short Hammam (1991), she’s developed a unique animation style using paint, pastel, or sand. Her films have received numerous awards at major international festivals.
