Directors' Biography

Alisa Kovalenko is an award-winning Ukrainian filmmaker based in Kyiv. Her films have screened at 100+ festivals. After serving on the frontline in 2022, she returned with My Dear Théo, a personal war account. Her work has appeared on Netflix and Arte; she won the Chicken & Egg Award in 2024.
