In management, action items are tasks to resolve issues. But what if the issue is systemic? In her second feature, Paula Ďurinová explores how personal burnout shifts into collective awakening. Set in Berlin, Action Item transforms anxiety into resistance, reframing struggles through shared memory, found footage, and the politics of care. What if the real task is to unlearn, pause, and reimagine?

Directors' Biography

Paula Ďurinová (1987, Slovakia) is a Berlin-based documentary filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist. Her work explores post-communist societies, grief, and collective anxiety through archival and experimental forms. Action Item is her second feature, turning burnout into awakening.
