In pandemic-stricken Cuba, Landi hunts crocodiles by hand in the Zapata marshes to feed his family. His wife Mercedes gathers charcoal and cares for their autistic son. As days pass with no word from Landi, fear grows. When he finally returns, their cycle of survival, absence, and silence continues.
David Bim began his studies at ESCAC and in 2015 wrote and directed The Last Two, based on a true story of an elderly couple in a ghost village. That year, he was also selected to study directing at the International Film School of Cuba (EICTV).
