Synopsis

A Kafkaesque courtroom drama set in 19th-century Liverpool, recounting the trial of a corpse with neither name nor past. Dozens have gathered for the absurd ceremony — and perhaps to deliver justice. 

Directors' Biography

Belgian director Dorian Jespers crafts generous, idiosyncratic short films where the personal meets the vast. His debut Sun Dog lit up festivals and museums worldwide, and his latest film, Loynes, premiered at Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight.
