Synopsis

A Ukrainian platoon's mission: traverse a heavily fortified mile of forest to liberate a strategic village from Russian forces. A journalist accompanies them, witnessing the ravages of war and the growing uncertainty about its conclusion.

Directors' Biography

Mstyslav Chernov is a Ukrainian photojournalist, filmmaker, and war correspondent known for covering the Revolution of Dignity, the wars in Donbas, Syria, Iraq, and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. His film 20 Days in Mariupol premiered at Sundance and earned numerous international awards.
